The Industrial Laser Application Symposium (ILAS), organised by the Association of Laser Users (AILU), provides a biennial opportunity for those involved in the use and development of Laser Materials Processing (LMP) to present their work and showcase their products; with the aim of stimulating further technological and applications developments and an increase in the use of LMP.
Building on the success of ILAS 2013, ILAS 2015 will provide a programme of technical presentations covering the state-of-the-art in the wide scope of LMP processes and applications, ranging from those already well established in industrial processes through to new developments to meet the themes of the UK's manufacturing agenda. ILAS 2015 will also provide an integrated exhibition area for suppliers of laser-related products and services and other outstanding networking opportunities for delegates. For persons new to the use of lasers ILAS 2015 will provide opportunities to network with the UK knowledge base and supply chain.
AILU believes that lasers have a vital and growing part to play in 21st Century manufacturing, and through ILAS it supports the desires of those within the LMP community for this growth to continue. AILU’s First Call for Abstracts for the Industrial Laser Applications Symposium (ILAS) 2015 has just been released. The deadline is 30 September 2014.
ILAS 2015, AILU's big biennial 2-day laser event, takes place on 17 & 18 March 2015 at the Chesford Grange Hotel near the ancient town of Warwick in Warwickshire UK. The event will provide a unique opportunity for users, suppliers and researchers to explore the recent advances in Laser Materials Processing LMP) and the new and improved applications that they have created.
ILAS 2015 will provide an ideal context for those actively involved in the LMP supply chain to present their work, showcase their products and services and to strengthen alliances with fellow researchers, users and suppliers of the technology: Making an abstract submission is the first step to full involvement in and maximum benefit.
